Prices

All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice.

Although every care has been taken the prices are not guaranteed until paid in full and documents have been issued. Price changes occur outside our control, which increases the cost of the product or service. Changes occur due to many factors these include taxes, currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges and airfare increases. Please enquire with our friend consultants for the best and most up-to-date prices.

Some flights bookings prices has been converted to AUD using the exchange rate at the time the booking is made. Variations to your final price may occur due to currency fluctuations. Please note, where any pricing has been converted from a foreign currency, payments are processed in the original currency and your credit card company may charge a conversion fee. These could range between 1-3% of the total charge.

All taxes are subject to change without notice. Please note that certain taxes are mandatory in various countries and there may also be an additional local tax charged at some airports.

Bookings for infants (under 2 years old) do not include a seat unless a child fare has been purchased.

Online Bookings

Bookings made online are only for Ex Australia, we hold the right to decline online bookings if we believe that the booking is not a genuine booking or are of a fraudulent nature.

Some online fares will incur a booking fee or service charge.

Standard Baggage Allowances

First Class: 40 kg free baggage allowance per person. Business Class: 30 kg free baggage allowance per person. Economy Class: 20 kg free baggage allowance per person. For travel to and from the USA, the free baggage allowance is 1 piece per person. Please check with your consultant for dimension and weight information.

Reconfirmations

It is your responsibility to contact the airline prior to departure to ensure there is no change to the schedule departure time. We recommend that you reconfirm your flight with the local airline office at least 72 hours prior to departure. Failure to reconfirm may result in the cancellation of some reservations. We will always endeavour to contact you if we are made aware of any such changes but will not be liable of any cost incurred if contact has not been made.

Payments

For bookings made via the Travel Partner Call Centre or in store a minimum deposit amount of AUD$50.00 per person for flight bookings and AUD$300.00 per person for package holidays is charged. Your service provider may require further deposits. All deposits are non-refundable but can be used for 6 months.

The due date for balance payment for travel arrangements made via the Travel Partner Call Centre is 8 weeks prior to departure or the ticketing deadline imposed by the airline and/or wholesaler, whichever is earlier. Travel Partner is not responsible for any changes made by a third party to the balance due date and prices are not guaranteed until payment has been made in full and documents have been processed.

All online bookings require full payment at the time of booking. In some instances, payment for international tickets can be made or taken after the online booking process is completed.

Where a Service fee or credit card surcharged is charged, this fee is non-refundable.

By making payment for all or in part to Travel Partner means you agree to all terms and conditions.

Credit Card payments

Credit Card surcharges of 2% for Visa or Mastercard will apply when paying by a credit card. Credit card holder must be travelling with the group. We reserve the right to pass on your credit card details, and any other essential booking details, to a third party supplier who may charge your credit card directly for all or part of your booking payment. Bookings made with a credit card are subject to approval. We may request you to provide verification documentation to authenticate the credit card. This is to reduce the potential risk of fraud. When you make payment to Travel Partner by credit card you agree not to charge back your payment to Travel Partner.

TICKETING

For international and domestic departures e-tickets will be issued upon payment and completion of the booking process. In some instances Best Flights may not be able to issue an e-ticket on the flights and fare selected. Bookings that cannot be issued as an e-ticket will have to be changed to comply with e-ticket regulations, a consultant from Travel Partner will contact you to advise on alternative options. All other travel documentation, such as hotel, car hire, transfer and tour vouchers will be e-mailed to you as an e-document.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance either by yourself or from us. We are authorized agents of Aussie travel cover and QBE limited. It is up to you to choose the cover you need. Any advice in this document is of a general nature only and has not considered your objectives, financial situation or needs. You should carefully read and consider the information provided having regard to your personal circumstances to decide if this insurance is right for you.

Cancellation & Amendment Fees

ALL cancelled bookings and amendment will incur charges. A majority of airfares are non-refundable please check with your consultant if the fare is refundable. Administration fees apply to all refundable tickets, even if Airlines waives a cancellation fee. These fees are charged by the product providers AND by Travel Partner. Our administration fee is $120.00 per ticket plus any airline cancellation fees. Refunds take approximately 12 weeks to process.

Fees apply where a booking is changed or tickets are reissued. Some fares are non-changeable. Please check with your consultant whether the fare is changeable.

Our administration fee is $60 per ticket per change plus any airline charges.

Agency

Travel Partner act as an agent only. We sell various travel related products on behalf of numerous transport, accommodation and other service providers, such as airlines, coach, rail and cruise line operators. Our obligation is to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made on your behalf subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider and not us. If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted your remedy lies against the provider and not with us.

Liability

We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly, by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.

Special Requirements

Please advise your travel consultant of any special requirements you may have, such as special meals, medical requirements, et cetera.

Frequent Flyers

Please advise you travel consultant your frequent flyer details. Your consultant will pass these details on to the relevant supplier, but we cannot guarantee that the supplier will credit any points for your booking. Please retain all boarding passes to allow verification of your travel if required.

Passports and Visas

The responsibility of ensuring that all valid passports, visas and re-entry permits requirements with the immigration office, Government bodies and other services lies with you. Any fines, penalty or expenses required to be paid as a result of non-compliance with these authorities will be your sole responsibility.

All travelers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of entry. We recommend that you contact the appropriate consulate for further information regarding visa requirements.
